Bachelor Party | Hardbound Unlined Journal
Fine Art, Fresh Pages.
A hardbound journal that treats art history as more than decoration. Each notebook features a hand-selected artwork on a durable matte cover, paired with clean blank pages for writing, sketching, planning, or thinking things through. Finished with a museum-style curatorial note on the back cover, it’s equal parts object and tool—made to be used, not precious.
The Artwork
Bachelor Party by Luis Wain
The Curatorial Note (back cover)
"Louis Wain (English, 1860–1939) turned cats into stand-ins for human folly - drinking, gambling, and in this case, throwing a bachelor party. Rendered in an anthropomorphic Victorian illustration style, it's part caricature, part critique; social rituals reimagined in fur. Later diagnosed with schizophrenia, Wain’s art grew stranger, more electric - a window into a mind unraveling ...and the cats never left."
